Covid-19 has impacted our world in so many ways, it's almost hard to believe. One thing is for sure, it's here to stay, and we must adapt and change with it. No one knows what the new normal is going to look like at the end of all this, but one thing is for sure, we will prevail. Now more than ever we are faced with the challenge of keeping our clientele and fellow humans safe and healthy. At Catalina Scuba we pride ourselves on being the top of our field in regards to instruction, customer service, prices, and of course gear. We are well versed in adapting to the times to ensure our clientele have the newest and best the scuba industry has to offer, and we are taking that same approach to our sterilization practices.
All of our gear is already sterilized with botanical food grade disinfectant that kills 99.9% of all bacteria and viruses including H1N1. We have instituted a second measure of sterilization to guarantee the safest possible conditions for our clientele. We know Covid-19 cannot survive high heat and/or UV light. Our response is to sterilize all of our equipment with UV-C light to ensure the destruction of all bacteria and viruses before each use. This is the same technology used in hospitals and surgical centers to sterilize their equipment. All of our neoprene will also be washed with 140 degree Fahrenheit water before being treated with UV-C light. Our clients safety has always been our number one priority, and these are just a few steps Catalina Scuba is taking to keep our clients safe. These new measures will guarantee that level of safety remains uninterrupted.
